George Jenalis is the father of Michael Jendalis and was the husband (now widowed) of Pernella Weathermay. Stranded by a storm in Gryphon Manor with her husband and unborn son, Pernella felt the wrath of Lord Wilfred Godefroy. Before she died, she gave birth prematurely to Michael. Although now she is a ghostly prisoner of Godefroy, George was able to escape with young Michael in his arms.[1]
