A character mentioned in passing in Tales of Ravenloft:The Briar at the Window, Viola Grellar was murdered by her husband, Narvisek Grellar.
Biography
Viola Grellar was the wife of vivisectionist Narvisek Grellar, who exchanged letters with Lord Wilfred Godefroy. Although Narvis never told Godefroy about it, Godefroy learned through other sources about Narvis' murder of his wife. Viola had objected to the brutal nature of Narvis' experiments and threatened to reveal his misdeeds if he continued. Narvis did not stop, but instead made her his next experiment.[1]
