After Bluetspur was drawn into the Mists, those Thaan who remained in Bluetspur to challenge the illithids called themselves Yldi'Thaan, that is, "the righteous people". Their descendants still use that term to this day.[1]
The Yldi'Thaan should not be confused with the Ildi'Thaan, a secret society in the Core which derives its name from and claims the heritage of the Yldi'Thaan.[2]
