Margaret was a married woman who lived in Charity Cove. However, at Liturgicant Jonathan Cadderly's behest, she held a tryst with him. Although the priest himself was never discovered, Margaret's unaccounted-for pregnancy left her to be ostracized as an outcast for the rest of her life.
