Tirian is the darklord of the the Dread Elemental Domain of Mists. He is a wrathful but also mournful ghost, usually hostile to those whom he encounters. Tirian is able to grow or shrink the borders of his domain at will, and he also controls the mist elementals of his domain.[1]
Tirian was a giomorgo, born to Veria, his Vistani mother, and an unknown father. After he was (falsely) accused for the murder of his friend Leran, the Vistani tribe he was raised in deemed him an exile. Feeling betrayed and absolutely furious with rage, Tirian instinctively lashed out with his dagger at his mother for suggesting it would be better if he left the tribe. Panicked at what he had done, Tirian fled as the rest of the Tribe gathered together to punish him for his betrayal. Fleeing, Tirian ran into Lerhan's true murderer, a bandit. Hostilities between them ensued, and the bandit struck Tirian down in cold blood. With his last breath, Tirian cursed his tribe to never be believed again. This ultimately resulted in their destruction by werewolves as their appeals for help were not believed.[1]
