Senkenwiese

The Senkenwiese is a small prairie on Graben Island, part of the Modersperren peninsula. Although other flatlands upon Graben Island are typically valuable for raising both ponies and cattle, the Senkenwiese is both difficult to reach and dangerous to use. From the north, access is hindered by ravines, and from the south, by the marsh called the Aassumpf. Sinkholes dot the prairie itself, which is also rumored to be inhabited by fell spirits such as will-o-wisps and fey. Even more frightening are tales of The Flayed Rider.
