The Rodskoven ("the Redwood") is one of the three great forests of Kartakass. It is cradled by the Kilovan River to the north and northwest and the Musarde River to the south and southwest. In the north and northwest, it is separated from the Ulvskoven ("the Wolfwood") by the Kilovan River. It climbs towards the east where it meets the Mar Shred Cnoc ("Shrouded Hills") of Forlorn to the north and the Beni Gigantsmark of Hazlan to the south. The Rodskoven is peppered with small box canyons into which wolves and especially wolfweres are prone to drive their prey. The forest is inhabited by loggers and hermits. Logging camps can be found near the rivers and their tributaries and well-secured log cabins can be found on hilltops. There are rumors that invite the suspicion that an Order of the Guardians conceals itself in the Rodskoven.[1]
