Zebulon is the founder of the Cult of Zebulon. He first appeared in 700 BC in Pont-a-Museau, Richemulot. Observing and lamenting the loss of the mysterious civilization that predated the Richemuloise and his own aging, Zebulon decided that the passage of time was an evil to be fought and denied. His mission was to deny time by finding immortality. Zebulon began researching the arcane and scientific, eventually delving into the study of undeath. He gathered a like-minded band of ruthless followers around him, sometimes resorting to thievery to get what they wanted.
Zebulon was apparently destroyed in 701 BC by an experiment gone awry. However, after some time had passed, a mysterious being claiming to be Zebulon called his followers back through dreams. Supposedly, the being showed Zebulon's followers many hidden truths of the multiverse. Some went mad, but others saw Zebulon's achievement as true immortality. The faithful began to venerate Zebulon as a deity and received unusual supernatural abilities for it. "Zebulon" vanished shortly thereafter.[1]
