Brahmbei the Oracle is one of the loa of Souragne[1]. He is the shaper of fate, the seer of all things to come, and was once the most powerful Loa. He has grown old and lost ground to the Lord of the Dead and the Maiden of the Swamp, however. He is still prayed to for luck and knowledge, but his vision is weakened by his age, and he sometimes misleads people if doing so will lead them to their final destiny.
He is supposedly the source of knowledge for the voodan priests of Brahmbei's Hands. However, as a dread possibility), Brahmbei might have little to nothing to do with the cult that claims his worship.[2]
