Elessi and her twin sister Evanda were born in Barovia. They worked as shepherds in the vicinity of the Petrovna family. They supposedly committed suicide, but it is possible that Yagno Petrovna is responsible for their deaths. Their deaths occurred in 696 BC at the earliest and in 702 BC at the latest. Their age at the times of their deaths is unknown.[1]
