The Council of Lords meets annually in Kantora, traditionally on the Night of Bright Truth, to advise the Prince of Nova Vaasa.[1] It is constituted of a total of twelve members: three individuals selected by the prince; the mayors of Kantora, Egertus, Liara, Bergovitsa and Arbora; and the patriarchs of the five ruling families.[1]
Under the prolonged reign of Prince Othmar, the three appointed members are spymaster Rangvold Alriik, Aerkebiskop of Kantora Mathias Bolshnik, and Count of Ehrendton Poul Ehrend. The annual meeting has become a pointless formality under Prince Othmar.[1] He can count on de rigueur support of his three appointees and of the mayors of Kantora and Egertus.
