Construction is the strange half-way house of the [[The Constructed|Constructed]]. It is not life, it is undeath, it is not death, and it is not inanimation. Construction is a manifestation of neither [[postive energy]] nor [[negative energy]]. [[Druids]] do not decry it as being [[unnatural]] for it doesn't break the cylce of [[nature]]. [[clerics]] do not condemn it as being [[unholy]] for it usually doesn't implicate a [[soul]]. It is a manifestation of [[artifice]]. It is [[artificial]] existence. Nevertheles, it consists of [[capacity]] and [[incapacity]].  It is [[perception|consciousness]] and, in dread cases, [[reflection|self-conciousness]]. It is truly understood by neither the [[biologist]] nor the [[necrologist]]. The [[arcane lorist]] has some comprehension of it, so long as [[dark desire]] is not involved. Otherwise is the stuff of [[Ravenloft lorist]]. It is the fruit of [[Construct Crafting|construct crafting]] and of [[Golemcrafting]]. Construction is often a [[curse]]. It is the parody of [[life]]. It is a poor substitute for [[immortality]].
