Bestow Curse is a necromantic spell that effects a curse. It is both an arcane spell and a divine spell, appearing on the sorcerer/wizard spell list and the cleric spell list. It also belongs to the Curse Domain common to the Church of Ezra, the Church of the Lawgiver, the Cult of Ra, or the Cult of Set. In the Land of Mists, curses, including that effected by this spell, may be varied in their severity and generally include an escape clause. Casting bestow curse is an act provoking a Powers check.
