The shroud is an invisible shield that covers Il Aluk and defines Necropolis's Borders. It has the power to almost instantly kill any living creature from the negative energy. The Shroud was formed due to The Requiem giving formation to Necropolis. Undead seem to be unaffected by the shroud making Necropolis truly a city of the dead.
