The reptile men of Souragne are small reptilian humanoids who live in the swamps of Souragne. They worship Merrshaulk and venerate Sandovor as its avatar, serving him faithfully and providing a monthly human sacrifice.[1]

Origins

Sandovor believes the reptile men did not originate in Souragne but were once natives to some unknown outlander world where their civilization built numerous pyramids. For the past few years, Sandovor has overseen the construction of a new pyramid resembling those found on their home world[1] .

Game Statistics

For the purposes of game mechanics, the statistics for goblins can be used to represent the reptile men.[2] Note that the reptile men were never updated for 3rd Edition. Hence, any creature types below are speculative.

Slaves

In order to finish Sandovor's pyramid, the reptile men have kidnapped a number of humans from Port d'Elhour and the surrounding environs for transformation into a mentally inferior slave caste of reptile men. These slaves are treated as kobolds of considerably lower Intelligence[3].

Jakobi is one prisoner awaiting the transformation ritual[4].
