The Headless Mule [1] is a horrid shapechanging beast that is the subject of a moral story against lust. The Headless Mule is a black-furred mule with no head. Instead, it has two pinpoints resembling eyes that shoot out ghostly flames. Of all the varying details in the story, the description remains remarkably similar.

Although horrid in appearance in its true form, the headless mule can transform into a beautiful woman. Its preferred mode of operating is to lure lustful men to their doom. Despite its tricky disguise, the Headless Mule has formidable combat abilities: a breath weapon and a gaze that can cause madness.

The Headless Mule may be unique, but this may be unlikely given the range of its story. The Headless Mule may be a bogeyman.
