This module involves foiling the evil and obsessed Count George Artiari and his vampire ally Santori Maino. They are responsible for the murders of several sailors of the Nocturnal Sea. To make matters worse, Dariana, a Kargat spy has been sent to investigate the matter.
The module starts in Nevuchar Springs. The players charter passage on the Pheoctyst, a sailing ship captained by Captain Leovon “Sure Eye” Tivalan. An attack by Santori Maino ultimately causes the ship to crash on the shores of Liffe. Investigation of Armeikos (and ultimately, Ariari's residence itself) follows.
