James Blackmore is a Mordentish sailor in a bit of a jam for money. He sought the hand of Rosaline Teach, a hotly contested for woman of Mordentshire. Her father Jasper Teach requires a suitor to have a house to shelter Rosaline in, and James had none.[1] In order to gain the needed cash, James Blackmore signed on to crew Captain Pieter van Riese's ship the Relentless. However, he may have signed up for much more than he bargained for.[2]
