A radiant spirit is a spirit of a Lawful Good paladin or priest who was killed attempting complete a quest important to his or her faith or religion. Negative emotions weigh down and torture the soul, keeping it from passing on. In a mockery of its abilities in life, the radiant spirit possesses a powerful command over radiance and light.[1]
Radiant spirits can be encountered in Mordent[2] and Sithicus.[3] In the Shadow Rift, radiant spirits can be encountered in the Black Marsh as part of the saugh.[4] In G'Henna, a radiant spirit haunts the valley known as Broken Heart.[5]
As a type of undead, they can be found in Barovia[6][7], Darkon[8][9], Har'Akir[10][11], and Valachan.[12][13] As a type of undead that does not feed, radiant spirits may be encountered in Keening.[14][15].
