In the Oracle Dread Possibility, the true source of the visions the Brahmbei's Hands experience is not Brahmbei but an outlander diviner named Oriel. The tendency for voodans to horde knowledge appalls Oriel, and he seeks to use the Hands to spread the knowledge he gleans through scrying into all of Souragne. Unfortunately, a second manipulator has discovered the cult and seeks to turn its use of knowledge for more taboo and even evil purposes. This abuse is viewed by Oriel as worse than having a restriction on knowledge.[1]
