The Ramsays were (and maybe still are, should Dr. Ramsay have relatives back in Mordentshire) Mordentish nobles who moved from Mordent to the Isle at Dr. Ramsay. Dr Ramsay has inadvertently cursed his wife, children, and himself into a torturous immortal existence.[1]
