The Iron Hills (or Sangiyeth, as it is known to the elves, are a region of hills located in Sithicus to the northeast of the Fumewood.[1]
The area is infested with wild elves, whom, like the bitterkinder of the Fumewood, are quite territorial. Unlike the kender, these wild elves will sometimes creep over the border into Barovia to make periodic raids for supplies and such. Spring tends to be the time when they are most killed and make the most killing because they explooit the tendency for merchant wagon wheels to get stuck in the mud.[1]
