The Bridling[1] is the seventh and final epoch of the Vaasi Timeline, following the Bucking and ending with the Second Judgement. The rebellion and chaos of the previous era ended with the ascension of Prince Jokum Rivtoff. Like Prince Gorkyn Vistin before him, Prince Jokum bloodily put down any who dared rival him. He effectively ruled for 35 years, most of those as regents for the child princes from other families. The Riding survived Jokum's death under suspicious circumstances, as he solidified Nyvalg Vaasa's stability and power. The nation became a trading powerhouse during an era that would seem like it would stretch into perpetuity.
