Hataras the Quiet, an associate of Dr. Van Richten, is a monster hunter and poisoner who fought the Whistling Fiend. Hataras discovered the hard way that demons are immune to poison, only just escaping the fiend.[1] In particular, he is a dedicated golem hunter as well as an adventurer.[2]
Hataras, Darien, and Irina once encountered the dread clay golem Katya, but they were unable to defeat it. The encountered also left Irina dead at the hands of Katya.[3]
