Chebney is a community in Kartakass. The town was haunted by a "phantom beast" that stole the voice of the meistersinger. Thordin and Blaine Clairn investigated the mystery of the ghost and discovered it appeared after the meistersinger poisoned his predecessor. The spirit was laid to rest when the meistersinger made a public admission of guilt.[1]
