The Girod Family is a Dementlieuse family that was suffering from a failing family business. However, Dominic d'Honaire's marriage of Louise Girod for political purposes saved their floundering business, though this may not come without cost, for the family now owes d'Honaire a favor. For Domnic d'Honaire, there is also an added bonus that their wedding has seemingly produced worthy heir, a nine child named Germain d'Honaire (Son of Dominic) born in the year 748 BC, thereby making him almost a decade old as of 757 BC.[1]
