Windsun is the hero and subject of the elven epic poem Windsun, The Cold Hand. According to the poem, he was a master thief and rogue who was half elf and half wind spirit. He was said to have legendary speed, and he eventually fell in love with a princess from Sri Raji. However, Aldon Filch discovered the source of his legendary power: a One-Fingered Hand. Aldon Filch stole the Hand of Power from Windsun and then challenged him to a duel and harnessed its power. He struck Windsun's paramour dead before Windsun swiped the One-Fingred Hand back and destroyed it, resulting in the rapid aging of both Windsun and Filch. Windsun was able to enjoy seeing Filch rapidly age to death under the weight of the dread artifact's curse.[1]
