The Curtain Falls[1] is a 2nd Edition adventure scenario from the Carnival (Sourcebook) for PC levels from 6-9. It features Professor Pacali and his conspiracy against Isolde
Plot
Pacali finishes his Mystick Cage and enacts his plot to destroy isolde. However, the ritual goes awry and the Twisting runs amok in Carnival (Society), warping everyone inside in mind and body. Meanwhile the Gentleman Caller, Isolde's eternal nemesis, makes a rare in person appearance to take advantage of the situation and kill as many people as possible, including Blasse.
