After a brush with the Shroud, Dunkel Kralle's left arm was afflicted with negative energy. His hand was subsequently amputated and buried. However, the negative energy reanimated it as a crawling claw, and now it seeks to reunite with and kill the rest of Kralle's body.[1] The Hand later went on to murder Pugh Horas at the Horseman's Rest in pursuit of this goal.[2]
