Aldus Aldon Canter

An amateur philosopher and occultist, Aldus Aldon Canter was the founder of the Esoteric Order of the Palatine Eye. In the murky historical record of Ustalav, he was said to have founded the Order in 160 BC after returning with treasure from a land "S" assumes to be the Amber Wastes, although this was several hundred years before these domains even formed. He later became the count of Vieland. However, Aldus eventually fell from grace after he was discovered performing perverse rituals and accused of witchcraft. Aldus lost his position as count and the head of the Esoteric Order, although the Order's reputation was forever tarnished.
