The greater shadow is an even more formidable variety of the normal due to the increased power of its strength damage touch and its ability to employ mobile skirmishing tactics.[1]
As undead, greater shadows can be encountered in Barovia[2][3], Darkon[4][5], Keening,[6][7], Mordent[8][9], Sanguinia[10], Sithicus[11][12], Souragne[13], and Valachan[14][15] As a variety of undead, greater shadows could be encountered in the former domain of Gundarak, and thus may now be encountered in Barovia and Invidia[16].
It is likely that greater shadows could be encountered in any domain that normal shadows could be encountered in.
