Behrouz al-Jabara became the Sheikh of the House of Jabara after his older brother Ferdous was removed following a gross misadventure involving the death of Emir Talaal el-Khatib. Behrouz is thoroughly cowed by his vizier, Haanifa al-Burki, who organized his brother's removal and quiet death.[1]
