| An Elven Vampire is an elf who has returned from death via the Elven Vampire [[:category:vampire strain|strain]] of [[vampire|vampirism]]. This strain only affects elves, hence all Elven Vampires are both [[Elf|Elves]] and [[Vampire]]s, but not all Vampires who are Elves are affected by this strain. It is possible for a Elf to contract another strain of vampirism, including the basic version.
