Red Wizards are a spellcasters that originate from the prime material world world of Toril, in the land of Thay. They are generally (but not always) an evil class of wizard, known for their red robes and tattoos sported on their head and body. At best, they are non-Good.
Each Red Wizard is a specialist in a given field of magic.
As a group, they are effectively the tyrannical rulers of Thay, and have an expansionist agenda.
