Patent Hall is located in Mayvin, which is in the Mountains of Misery.[1] Some of the machines seem to have malicious intelligence within them, for there have been a string of several accidents beyond which is attributable to bad luck. Or the Patent Hall may be haunted by a poltergeist or ghost.[2]
