The Aggregate is a Flesh Golem, created by Dr. Cyrus Vannen as a body for his deceased fiance Verity DuClerk from spare parts not afflicted by the Rot. However, Verity became only one of several personalities held within the Aggregate to the horror of Dr. Vannen. Now Dr. Vannen exists primarily to construct a body of perfection impervious to the effects of disease and death. The Aggregate has inherited its creators desire to achieve perfection.[1]
