The creature may be given an oversized [[humanoid]] shape or that of some creature native to an icy region. [[Meredoth]], the [[darklord]] of [[Todstein]], does not make dread snow golems. He is, however, the [[Inventor (monstrous)|inventor]], some time after [[635 BC]], of the [[snow golem]], tales of which may have inspired [[Dread Crafter|makers]] of dread snow golems.
