The Mill Road connects Mordentshire in Mordent and Chateaufaux in Dementlieu. It connects In Mordentshire with the South Road to Valachan. It connects in Chateaufaux with Avenue de Progrès to Port-a-Lucine. Within Mordent, the road is an unassuming and rough, consisting of a mixture of stone and mud. It traverses the otherwise impassable marshes and bogs of the Great Moor north of Mordentshire, next penetrates the silent, evergreen Forest of the Ancients, and finally reaches the tiny hamlet of Hope's End on the frontier with Dementlieu. The hamlet features a nameless inn and the route up to that point is serviced by lonely taverns. From the frontier with Mordent, the road is paved and well maintained, breaking into open country, with stretches of the route, particularly in the vicinity of communities, being lined with trees, principally birch and plane.
