Roots of Evils is the sixth and final module of the Grand Conjunction series as well as the follow-up module to From the Shadows. However, due to the meddling of Azalin, the 5th Verse of Hyskosa's Hexad comes to pass after the 6th. (The 5th Verse of Hyskosa's Hexad comes to pass in From the Shadows. Both From the Shadows and Roots of Evil take place in 740 BC.[1]
In From the Shadows, Azalin sends the decapitated PCs back in time to the Wedding of Sergei and Tatyana to change the history of Barovia.
