The Many-Headed Devourer is worshipped by the elven dragon disciple Thaumiol as a forgotten god-wyrm of his people[1]. The Many-Headed Devourer is actually Takhisis of Krynn. For stealing away the world from the other gods in the War of Souls, she was found guilty of upsetting the Balance and sentenced to death. To maintain Balance her brother, Paladine, sacrificed his own godhood so she would lose hers. Takhisis was killed shortly after becoming mortal.
