Now deceased, Barov (277 BC-346 BC)[1] was married to Countess Ravenia, and was the father of Strahd, Sturm and Sergei.[1][2]
Both Barov and Ravenia were killed by the invading Tergs in 346 BC.

I6 and House of Strahd both call Strahd's parents "King" and "Queen." But Gazetteer I calls them "Count" and "Countess". It is unclear if these title changes were a mistake or a deliberate retcon.
