Rose is a paladin who was captured by Azalin, transformed into a dairy cow, and caged in the Room of Alteration in Castle Avernus, along with several others individuals (including Coryn, Slippery Siv, and Milarn). 
Rose may have been found and rescued in 740 BC by adventurers who were being manipulated by Azalin into triggering the Grand Conjunction.
