The Analytical Method is a style of treatment for the mentally ill that was created by Dr. Francois Mousel and Dr. James Mousel.[1] Although related to the mesmerist or the hypnotist, adherents of the analytical method generally view their ways as more scientific and intellectual. Treatment is based on addressing problems in a patient's conscious perceptions, thoughts, and attitudes as gleaned by careful and systematic interview and consultation with the patient.[2]
