Ilisa Zsolty is a member of the Vistani, who was abducted by Horg for a ritual of soul transference.[1] Specifically, Dr. Mordenheim, in his desperation had hired the so-called "necromancers" Hilda Von Karlsveld and Friedrich Kreutzer to find a way to transfer Elise Mordenheim's soul into a living body.[2] Hilda used her psychic powers determine a proper vessel, and Ilisa was the result of Hilda's vision.[3]
Ilisa is the great-grand daughter of Nana Zsolty Taksony[4], the granddaughter of Karla Zsolty, the daughter of Petre Zsolty[5] and the sister of Mikael Zsolty, the latter of whom died trying to save her from Horg.[6]
