Jacques LeGrange is a soldier living in Chateaufaux. He informed Ivan Dragonov of a string of disappearances going on in town at the time.^[1] Jacques's brother Louis LeGrange was one of the vanished ones. Later investigation showed those whom had disappeared were all murdered by Gabrielle Faure, a red widow.^[2]
