Larson is a character from the Tales of Ravenloft: Song Snatcher short story. An outlander from Cormyr[1], Larson is both a bard[2] and a priest of Oghma by class[3] and a storyteller, folklorist, and performer by trade. Upon coming to Kartakass, he became a wanderer, seeking to absorb as much of the lore and song of the land as he could.[4].

One short cut to his collection of story and song was the hunting of the highly rare Lhiannan shee, undead spirits that drained the musical and creative essence out of bards. Larson knew how to draw out that stolen song and story and claim it as his own.[5] Such as with the Lhiannan shee of Skald which had been haunting Master Quintish. Sadly, an overly liberal use of poison on Larson's part left Quintish dead.[6]

In Skald, Larson is now the lover of Ellamir, though he might seek to transform her into one of the Lhiannan shee.[7]
