Tashlai is a monstrous adversary from th e 4th Edition module Fair Barovia. Formerly a Thaani human and assistant to the bookseller Khasad, they were afflicted by the lingering madness of the Old Markov House in Vallaki, eventually becoming monstrous aberrations. Tashlai became a gauth (a relative of the beholder). Tashlai and Khasad are now responsible for the madness spreading through the surrounding Thaani neighborhood.[1]
