But there were changes that didn't immediately meet the eye. The reputation of the foothills and the mountains beyond them for being [[fey]] haunted lessened with the passing of the years. Incursions by fey into Nova Vaasa were both greatly diminished and shifted west to the vicinity of the Tepestani border. Travellers who dared spend the night in what was formerly [[Arak]] no longer systematically failed to return. And those that did return had been beset by things other than fey. Darkon began work on the [[Strigos Road]] which, when complete, will join the [[East Timori Road]] at [[Liara]] in Nova Vaasa to the [[Argentus Road]] and the [[Tempe Road]] just east of [[Tempe Falls]].
