Once an emissary of the fiend Malgorboth that was sent centuries ago to aid a cult in Malgorboth's name, it was subsequently imprisoned in underground caves by goodly clerics after the cult was wiped out. Hundreds of years passed, and the Lurker became forgotten and existed in a semi-dormant state. The cult's former lands were taken to form part of Lamordia when the domain formed in 683 BC.
