There is some truth to this legend, for if a sword made with Rongeise steel and made into a magic weapon by an Ezrite cleric, that sword will become cursed. If a wielder used such a sword to kill a sentient creature unprovoked, the blade will cause the user to become obessively protective and infatuated with it, eventually turning into a bladewight when enough of the wielder's sanity has rotted away.[1]
